Helen Reakes
As a student studying English Literature at Swansea University, I have embraced my passion for detangling and analysing literature, and have developed a love for debate and argument surrounding the media. I am looking to develop myself within product promotion in the media, and public relations.
I enjoy exploring the presentation of women in the media industry, specifically in advertising and magazine work where airburshing is used to extreme measures. I also look into how this may have influenced an ever increasing rise in sufferers of Anorexia Nervosa.
I also embrace a talent for performing a close analysis of much of the literature I have read and studied, specifically works of William Blake, Shakespeare and Henry James.
If you enjoy my writing please don't hesitate to get in touch with any tips and tricks for me, or any interest in my work. helenreak1@btinternet.com (no spam please!)
